About this venue

The Rhythm Station was a famous 1990s nightclub in Aldershot, Hampshire, that played a major role in the early British rave scene.Key

The club was most active during the mid-1990s, specifically around 1993 to 1995. It focused on old-skool rave, happy hardcore, breakbeat, and early jungle music. It hosted iconic club nights like Fusion and Hardcore Heaven.

The building is a historic venue originally built in 1912. During the peak of the hardcore and rave scene between 1992 and 1995, it operated famously as The Rhythm Station (and under other names like The Limelight, Cheeks, and Vox). Today, the building functions primarily as The Palace Restaurant & Venue.
