Nigel Thompson (b. 1967), British jungle/drum and bass DJ-producer from South London; co-founded the long-running label V Recordings with Bryan Gee in 1993, launching artists including Roni Size, Krust and DJ Die.
Kaos
DJ Kaos (Jon Kyriacou), British happy hardcore/UK hardcore DJ-producer of Greek Cypriot descent and promoter, ran Wax City Records in Croydon and Camden Market; played events including Reincarnation, Herne Bay alongside Alex Hazzard.
Kemistry
Kemistry (Valerie Olukemi 'Kemi' Olusanya) was one half of drum & bass DJ duo Kemistry & Storm (with Jayne Conneely/Storm), active through the 1990s. She introduced her then-boyfriend Goldie to the drum & bass scene, and together the trio founded the Metalheadz label in 1994, leading it for two and a half years before Kemistry & Storm departed. Their mid-90s sets were noted for exceptional track selection and long, carefully crafted mixes; the pair were among the first women DJs to have a widely distributed mix album (DJ-Kicks: Kemistry & Storm, 1999, released posthumously for Kemistry). Olusanya died in a car accident in April 1999, aged 35.
Kenny Ken
Ken Delsol (b. 1969), British jungle/drum and bass DJ-producer, resident at London nights Sunday Roast, Telepathy, World Dance and AWOL; won the inaugural Jungle Sound Clash in 1994 and founded the Soundclash Recordings label.
